How does the ordering of medications online work?

People who have recently had a physical exam with their physician, in most cases, do not need to have another physical to receive a prescription for the medication they may need. Instead, a person may request to have their medical and health information reviewed by one of our U.S.-licensed physicians.

A thorough review of a patient’s medical and health information may enable our physician to write a prescription for a suitable candidate. If one of our physicians, or one of our pharmacists, requires further information, you will be contacted before the prescription is approved or denied.

If you already have a prescription from your doctor and are searching for a better price or more convenience, simply fax your existing prescription to us. We will then call your physician to verify the prescription before we fill it.

If for any reason your request for a prescription is not approved, you will not receive any charges.

How does the physicians review work?

You will be asked to complete a detailed form that outlines your medical history and health conditions, as well as any medications you may be taking. A unique form for each type of prescription medication that we offer provides questions specific to that particular medication. All questions on the form are the same types of questions your physician would ask you during an office visit. The physician reviewing your medical history and/or the pharmacist filling your prescription may contact you for further details and/or decline your request for the prescription.

How are orders filled?

All orders originating within North America are filled by a U.S. pharmacy with licensed pharmacists. International orders may get filled by a partner pharmacy licensed to do business within Europe and other countries around the world.

Is writing prescriptions and selling prescription medication on the Internet legal?

Yes, writing prescriptions based on a physician’s review and filling those prescriptions online is legal for many types of medication. Online pharmacies first appeared in 1998 when physicians began working with rural clients by telephone and the Internet.

What types of medication do you sell?

We provide FDA-approved medications that many people feel more comfortable buying online. Drugs like Viagra, Valtrex and Propecia have a certain stigma associated with them, and this may cause some people to feel undue embarrassment when they talk about or purchase these medications in an open setting. The ability to purchase these medications online and have them shipped directly to a residence relieves anxiety for patients.

What is the return policy on medication?

The FDA states that prescription medication may not be returned once it is shipped out from the pharmacy. If you have any questions or concerns about the medication you receive, please contact our customer service department.

What are the processing fees for?

The processing fees are used to pay the physician that writes the prescription, to the pharmacy that fills it, and to cover all other associated costs. Every online pharmacy has some type of processing fee. Some companies may advertise that they don’t have a processing fee, but the fees are actually lumped into the pill cost. On the other hand, we explain our costs and fees so you know where your money is being spent. Although OakTreeDrugs enjoys certain cost-reductions by operating online, our physicians and pharmacists still command a fee.

Does OakTreeDrugs price match?

Due to the fact many online pharmacies, many of them foreign, offer “generic” or counterfeit versions of the medications found on this site, we are not able to price match. If another site is able to offer a better price, we encourage you to contact them to see if they are U.S.-based pharmacy providing FDA-approved medications. OakTreeDrugs offers genuine, brand-name medications prescribed and filled by U.S.-licensed physicians and pharmacists.

How long does it take to get my order?

If your order for a prescription is approved by the physician without the need for follow-up questions, you have a number of shipping options, including FedEx and U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. Customers are encouraged to choose next-day shipping, as the pharmacy prefers to have all medications in and out of transit as quickly as possible.

Generally, orders that are approved by the physician are shipped the same day if they are received by 2 p.m. EST. Our pharmacy ships orders Monday through Friday. If you place an order on the weekend or after 2 p.m. on Friday, it will not be processed until the following Monday.

"When I order Viagra from OakTree, I know it’s the real Pfizer brand pill. Most of the pharmacies online these days, do not sell the authentic medications."
- Frank S, CA

Comment Seperater

"It is much more convenient and safe to order with you, then go through the hassle of taking time off work to visit the doctor."
